Difference between Man of men and Man’s man

man of menan outstanding man; a man of supreme excellence:

man’s man—a man who likes to be in the company of other men and who enjoys activities which men typically enjoy:

  • He had had comparatively little to do with women. Essentially a man’s man he had been wrapped up in his calling.
